DEVELOPING CONNECTIONS

Full Court Connections offers schools bespoke basketball coaching programmes that adhere to the Government’s national curriculum for PE, in both primary and secondary schools.

The company also delivers after-school clubs which are directly linked to several weekly local and regional community sessions. FCC works in schools and communities within Hillingdon, Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead, and Buckinghamshire.

Brunel Basketball

FCC has a long partnership with Brunel University where Pete Deppisch was the Head Men’s Basketball Coach for 18 years as well as a part-time lecturer who delivered the basketball practicals for sports science students. Coach Pete still remains involved with basketball provision at the university, which is where our very first community sessions for children aged 7-17 started up.

During his tenure he also established a national league team in 2014, the Brunel Ducks, which competed in the National Basketball League (NBL). The name came from the original Brunel Ducks university team from the 1980s and was inspired through a collaboration with John Kirkland OBE, the author of Ducking and Diving, and both Brunel Sport and the Brunel Students Union.

In 2017 FCC merged with the Thames Valley Cavaliers and Pete took on the role of Co-Chairman and Assistant Coach alongside owner Robert Banks until 2024, when the team was eventually sold.
