In loving memory

Leon Dennis was heavily involved in the early days of Full Court Connections. From the very beginning, he was a much-loved coach, building countless connections with children and young people wherever he coached, whether in schools, community sessions, or at annual basketball tournaments.

Leon was far more than a sports coach. He was a mentor, a role model, and an inspiration for numerous young people throughout the local Boroughs, especially Hillingdon. Through his passion, encouragement, and strong belief in others, he instilled confidence, resilience, discipline, and important life values that extended far beyond sport. His ability to connect with people from all backgrounds left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Following Leon’s passing in 2025, he is deeply missed by the Full Court Connections family and the many children, families, colleagues and communities whose lives he touched. His legacy continues to live on through the values he instilled and the positive impact he made on so many young people. He will always be remembered with great respect and gratitude.

Leon’s legacy lives on

To honour Leon’s legacy, Full Court Connections has established an “FCC Leon’s Legacy” certificate to give local young people the opportunity to attend community sessions free of charge, and to ensure his passion for inspiring the next generation through basketball lives on.
